Liftr

Privacy Policy

Last updated 11 August 2026

This describes what Liftr collects and where it goes. It reflects how the app actually works — if we change what we collect, we change this page.

What stays on your device

What we store

The room scan

When you scan a room, the photo you take is sent to Google's Gemini API to identify objects you can train with, and the result comes back as a list of items. The photo is used for that request and is not kept by us as a photo library. The same applies when Liftr works out how to adapt an exercise to the items you own.

Subscriptions

Purchases are handled by Apple and processed through RevenueCat, which tells us whether your subscription is active. We never see or store your card details — Apple does not share them with us.

Who we share it with

Only the services needed to run the app: Supabase (database and authentication), Google Gemini (the room scan), Apple and RevenueCat (subscriptions). We do not sell your data, and there is no advertising or third-party analytics SDK in Liftr.

Your choices

Children

Liftr isn't directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their data.
