Terms of Use

By downloading or using Liftr, you agree to these terms.

What Liftr is

Liftr is an iPhone app for planning and logging strength training at home. It suggests exercises based on objects it identifies in your room and shows you how to perform them.

This is not medical or coaching advice

Liftr gives general exercise information. It is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for a doctor, physiotherapist or qualified coach. Exercise carries risk of injury, and improvising equipment from household objects carries risk that purpose-built equipment does not — objects can break, slip or give way under load.

You are responsible for training safely. Check that anything you load or hang from is stable and strong enough before you use it, work within your ability, stop if something hurts, and speak to a professional before starting a new programme — particularly if you have an injury or a medical condition.

Subscriptions

Your account and your content

You're responsible for what happens under your account. Your photos and training data remain yours; you grant us only the permission needed to store them and provide the app's features, as described in the Privacy Policy. Don't use Liftr to break the law or to interfere with the service.

Availability

We may change, suspend or discontinue features. Parts of Liftr depend on third-party services and an internet connection, and may be unavailable at times.

Liability

Liftr is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from your use of the app or from exercises you perform. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continuing to use Liftr after an update means you accept the revised version.

Subscriptions

Liftr is free to download. Full access to the app requires an auto-renewing subscription, which you can start after setting up your plan.

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple Account. The yearly plan includes a 3-day free trial for new subscribers: unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts automatically to a paid year at the price shown in the app. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period ending.

Manage or cancel any time in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; access continues until the current period ends. If you buy a subscription during a free trial, the unused portion of that trial is forfeited. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
